Position: Software Quality Engineer (Testing)
Reports To: Manager, Operations
Location: Noida
Responsibilities
* Required to review Product Requirements Document, Engineering Specs to
develop test plans and test cases.
* Perform product testing by executing test cases and test scripts
* Involve in documentation tasks such as drafting or updating test
scripts, reviewing documentation for owned areas.
* Required to work directly with developers, product teams and/or product
management to understand Complex workflows and have customer focused
testing approach
* Required to attend meetings as and when required for project work
Requirements
* B.E/B.Tech/MCA from premier institute with 1-3 years of relevant
industry and testing experience.
* Strong experience in design and implementation of Test scripts, Test
cases and Test data & UI Testing.
* Must have excellent bug writing skills and strong troubleshooting skills
in troubleshooting, identifying and isolating the problems.
* Must be having good scripting skills, on Windows, Linux and MAC, using
Shell/Perl/Python scripting languages.
* Good knowledge of test methodologies like functional, black box, grey
box, integration, localization, performance and system testing.
* Strong Windows/MAC OS X/Linux or other OS fundamentals (memory
management, security, performance, networking, etc.).
* Experience of working with any Test case management system.
* Possess excellent interpersonal and problem analysis skills.
* Must be able to work independently, as well as on a team.
